On Saturday 25th March 2023 PGM Irving and Brother David Donaldson SPGM attended the Installation of Brother James Bell as PGM of Ayrshire. The meeting was held in the Walker Halls in Troon a wonderful facility. The Installation was carried out in fine form by The Grand Master Mason after which a full toast list followed a fine dinner. Fraternal greetings were exchanged between Dunbartonshire ,Ayrshire and all the Sister Provinces.

The PGM Bro Irving accompanied by DPGM Bro MacQueen attended The PGL Dumfriesshire where they received a warm welcome. The deputation of Sister PGL's formed by The Provincial Grand Master Bro Jack Drummond. The Installation was carried out in fine style by a selection of the Commission Office Bearers. After the meeting we were treated to Soup and a cold buffet which was excellent. It completed a fine week in the company of the Sister Provincial Grand Lodges.

The Provincial Grand Master Brother Irving accompanied by DPGM Brother MacQueen attended Kilwinning Communication and warm welcome was extended.A good deputation from the Sister Provinces was headed by James Bell new PGM of Ayrshire and he spoke well. Tom Wood the PGM of Kilwinning extended a warm welcome to all, thereafter the Office Bearers were installed by the SPGM. An excellent ritual was carried out by all. The evening concluded with a light supper.

On the 3rd of March, 2023 the Provincial Grand Master Brother Irving attended the Provincial Grand Lodge of LMW Office Bearers Installation at Cambuslang on Friday night accompanied by SPGM Wright. Large deputation including PGM's of LUW, Dumfriesshire, Scottish Borders, Stirlingshire, Renfrewshire East and West, plus another Provinces. Brother Jack Drummond PGM of Lanarkshire Upper Ward headed the deputation and as always spoke well, warmly welcomed by PGM Andrew Miller. The Installation of Office Bearers was carried out by one of the Sub PGM's the PG Chaplain assisted by the PG DoC who recited the Obligation. Very well done from start to finish.

Substitute PGM's Donaldson & Wright attended the Installation of PGL of Stirlingshire Office Bearers held in the premises of Callander No. 588 in Falkirk. A Large number of PGL reps from Glasgow, Ayrshire, Perthshire E & W, Lanarkshire MW, Kilwinning, Kincardineshire, Dumfriesshire, Renfrewshire West, Linlithgowshire and the Scottish Borders where in attendance. Brother Gordon Sewell PGM warmly welcomed the Visiting Brethren and thereafter DPGM Brother Stuart Stirling carried out the Installation of PGL OB's who clearly knew his brethren well. A fine day in Falkirk.

Divine Service of The Provincial Grand Lodge of Renfrewshire East on the 10th April 2022.
The Provincial Grand Master accompanied by DPGM Brother MacQueen attended the recent Divine Service of PGL Renfrewshire East at Wardlaw Parish Church on Sunday the 10th April. It was a wonderful uplifting Service to which a good number from members and Visiting Provinces alike. The Visiting Provinces received a warm welcome from The PGM Brother Ronald Fraser, thereafter Tea was served in the Church Hall.

Saturday the 26th March saw the Installation of the 30th Provincial Grand Master of Dunbartonshire within Dumbarton Kilwinning Lodge No 18 in Dumbarton.

On Friday 4th March provincial Grand Master Irving attended the Annual meeting and Installation of Elected office bearers of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Lanarkshire Middle Ward. With PGM Andrew Miller in the chair our PGM headed a deputation of the Sister Provincial Grand Lodges. The elected office bearers were installed in fine form by three senior office bearers of the home province. The deputation had received a warm welcome and were invited back for a spot of light supper.

On Saturday 25th September 2021, The Provincial Grand Master Brother James Forrest attended the Installation of Brother Andrew D. Miller as The Provincial Grand Master of Lanarkshire Middle Ward. The ceremony took place in Tabernacle Lane, Cambuslang.

Brethren I am sure that the vast majority of you will have seen the message issued by our Grand Master Mason on Friday,15th January 2021 following the meeting involving the Heads of Orders. The decision reached by them to continue the curtailment on all masonic activity until at least June comes as no surprise regretful though it may be. In consequence of this I have to sadly and regrettably announce that The Masters Dinner, Provincial Ladies Night, Divine Service, Games, Golf and Bowls Competitions will not take place. I am well aware that monies have already been paid regarding the Masters Dinner and Ladies Night and therefore Provincial Grand Secretary and Provincial Grand Treasurer will coordinate an exercise to return said monies.more...

On Friday,21st June 2019 a large number of brethren attended the last meeting of Lodge St John Dalmuir 543 to be held within their premises at Nairn Place, Dalmuir. The premises which were consecrated in 1936 have simply outgrown their usefulness and after much thought and deliberation by the members it was decided to sell the temple and move to the temple belonging to Lodge Clydebank 1234.more...

The Annual Claude Hamilton Golf Competition was held on Wednesday, 5th June 2019 over Douglas Park Golf Club. 30 competitors took part on the day which was up on last year's entry. Before Wednesday it had rained for two days without a break but from all reports the course held up and conditions although soft were fine.more...

The Annual Divine Service was held on Sunday,12th May 2019 at St Marys Church, Kirkintilloch. Bro Rev Mark E Johnstone the former minister of the church and now minister at Glasgow Cathedral officiated and conducted a wonderful service attended by a large number of brethren and families. more...

The Annual Fishing Competition was held on Saturday,11th May 2019 at Swanswater Fishery, Stirling. Bright sunshine was the order of the day which was not apparently ideally to the liking of the 26 anglers taking part.more...

The Provincial Grand Master Brother Forrest attended the Lanarkshire Middle Ward Divine Service on Sunday 28th April at Uddingston. The minister, Rev Fiona McKibbon was ill and could not take the service but was in the congregation. The Service was taken by Brother James Vasey the PGL Junior Chaplain. After which a fine buffet was served.

The Divine Service of the PGL of Ayrshire took place on Sunday 28th April at Tarbolton, Brothers Kennedy and Gardiner represented Dunbartonshire on the day, Warmly welcomed by the brethren of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire in particular Brother William Steel PGM. The service was conducted by Brother Reverend Shuttleworth together with the Provincial Grand Chaplain Brother Reverend Clipston, Tea and buffet was served at the conclusion of the Service.

The annual games competition took place on Friday 29th May,2015 within the premises of Lodge Bonhill and Alexandria St Andrews Royal Arch 321. The number of competing teams on the night was slightly disappointing but none the less games consisting of pool, darts, dominoes and carpet bowls were played in a competitive although friendly atmosphere. After close scrutiny Lodge Leven St John No 170 were adjudged the winners and congratulations go to them.

The Provincial Grand Master was in Renton at Halloween with the Brethren and friends of Lodge Leven St John No 170, who held a Quiz Night to raise funds for the Emma Cameron Foundation the PGM's chosen Charity. Eleven teams took part in this, the second such Quiz Night held by the Lodge for the Foundation. On this occasion a total of £525 was raised by the Lodge, supported by teams from Lodge 18, 170, 1234, 1309 amongst others. A real fun night, with much friendly rivalry between the teams. Despite the PGMs best efforts to assist Lodge 1234 on the night, they could only make 3rd last!

The Provincial Games Competition was hosted this year by Lodge Kilsyth St John No 39 on 16th May, 2014. After intense and close competition the winning team was Lodge Bonhill and Alexandria S.A.R.A 321. The trophy will be presented at the regular meeting of the lodge on 8th September,2014.

On Thursday,8th May 2014 the PGM Bro John Reid McCormack lead a deputation into Lodge Barns O' Clyde No 1018 to witness an excellent first degree carried out by the lodge office bearers. Following the degree Provincial Grand Lodge Chaplain Rev Bro Mark E Johnstone carried out a service of dedication regarding new lodge regalia and chaplains chair in a most moving and sincere ceremonial which was greatly appreciated by all present. The Provincial Grand Master thereafter clothed the Right Worshipful Master Bro Robert Allison in the new regalia. The thanks of the lodge were thereafter expressed to Bro Johnstone for his work on the evening together with congratulations on a job very well done.

On Saturday 3rd May,2014 the PGM Bro John Reid McCormack attended Lodge Leven St John No 170 to witness a second degree carried out by the lodge office bearers. The event was attended by a large number of brethren and included representatives from the sister provinces of Glasgow, Forfarshire and Renfrewshire East plus a deputation from the Grand Lodge of Scotland. This was the second such event held to highlight and promote the ritual of Andrew S MacBride and it is hoped that it will become an annual event to be held at various locations. The ceremonial was followed by dinner and entertainment rounding off an excellent day.

Saturday the 19th May saw the PGL Fishing Competition once again being held at Lawfield Fishery in Kilmacolm. Good weather conditions prevailed and they were enjoyed by the anglers taking part albeit the numbers slightly down on last year with 26 taking to the pegs.more....

On Friday 18th May the PGL Games Competition for 2012 was hosted by last year's winners Lodge Kilsyth St John No 39. Numbers were slightly down on last year with 6 teams taking part from 28, 39 (2 teams), 170, 384 and 716.more....

The 31st of March saw my Installation as Provincial Grand Master of Dunbartonshire within Dumbarton Kilwinning Lodge No. 18's Temple in Dumbarton.
