65 years in the Scottish Craft
 

On Monday 17th November 2014 a meeting was held at Lodge St Patrick 1309 when a large number of brethren attended to see Bro Angus N MacInnes be presented with a diploma to mark his 65th year in the Scottish Craft.

Initially the lodge was opened by the R.W.M. Bro Peter Mclean who welcomed not only the members of the lodge but the visiting brethren who had travelled large distances to mark the occasion. A deputation from the P.G.L. of Dunbartonshire headed by the Provincial Grand Master Bro John Reid McCormack was admitted followed by a deputation headed by the Most Worshipful Grand Master Mason Bro Charles.I.R. Wolridge Gordon of Esslemont . Bro MacInnes was then introduced to the assembled brethren and a resume of the masonic career of Bro MacInnes was given by Bro James. A. Dunbar highlighting the achievements of Bro MacInnes in his time as Master of the Lodge, PGL office bearer and Provincial Grand Master together with his work associated with Grand Lodge and office of Substitute Grand Master Mason. Bro MacInnes was thereafter presented with his diploma and he responded by thanking all concerned in the organisation of the evening. After the meeting a lovely meal was provided by the ladies of the lodge and appropriate toasts made with suitable reply.
