Knowetop Community Farm has provided a unique support service for West Dunbartonshire and the surrounding area for the past 29 years. The project relies heavily on donations and without external financial support the future of Knowetop Community Farm would be uncertain despite the enthusiastic efforts of volunteers who lend a hand at the farm.

When the Provincial Grand Lodge of Dunbartonshire heard of Knowetop’s continual struggle for financial assistance we donated £250 from our benevolent fund which is supported by the twenty one Lodges in Dunbartonshire. We hope our donation plays a small part in keeping the Community Farm alive for the benefit of the Community.

On behalf of the Dunbartonshire Freemasons, Tom Leckenby, Provincial Grand Master and George McCaughey Substitute Provincial Grand Master visited Knowetop Community Farm on a wintry Bank Holiday Monday to present the cheque for £250 to Eleanor Mitchell, Project Coordinator.
