The Annual Fishing Competition was held on Saturday,11th May 2019 at Swanswater Fishery, Stirling. Bright sunshine was the order of the day which was not apparently ideally to the liking of the 26 anglers taking part.

However a good number of fish were caught and the heaviest fish was caught by George Kerr of Lodge Bearsden 1572 and the winning team was Lodge Cochno 1304 comprising of David Peddie and Euan Graham. The winners were congratulated by Provincial Grand Master James Forrest and presented with a suitable bottle of spirits.

The thanks of the Province goes to Brothers James McColl and Malcolm Mac Donald for organising the event. Swanswater has proved to be a popular venue with the anglers and certainly provided another day of fishing and competition.
