On Friday, 4th November 2016 The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro John R McCormack together with a deputation from Provincial Grand Lodge attended the regular meeting of Lodge Dumbarton Kilwinning No 18.

Having been admitted to the lodge and welcomed by the R.W.M. Bro David Newport a most moving Service of Remembrance was carried out. While the service honoured all who had fallen in the service of their country it particularly remembered members of the lodge who had made the ultimate sacrifice. At the conclusion of the service Bro McCormack was presented to the assembled brethren and Honorary Membership of the Lodge was conferred upon him. Bro McCormack made suitable reply which was warmly received by the brethren of the lodge.
