Charity Night at Lodge Clydebank 1234

On the 25th Oct Lodge Clydebank 1234 held a charity night on behalf of two charities which are very close to the hearts of the brethren. The charities in question were the Glasgow University Cancer Research Department and the Premature Babies Unit at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

The charity night proved to be a terrific success which took the form of raffles, silent auctions & various other fun filled activities and raised the magnificent total of £5005.

The sum raised on the night was £3505 which was augmented by a further £1500 due to the efforts of Bro. Bobby Dickson who undertook a sponsored slim to boost the aim of the charities.

The Lodge fully appreciates the effort required to make this charity night such a success and would like to thank the organisers of the event, the various companies who donated gifts and prizes and, most importantly, everyone who attended and lent their support.

Lodge Clydebank 1234 has held several charity events over the last 4 or 5 years and have raised approx. £15000 for worthwhile causes. It is their intention to hold a similar events over the coming year and your support would be most welcome.
