PGM Brother James Forrest headed a very large Deputation from the Sister Provincial Grand Lodges into the Provincial Grand Lodge of Kilwinning on the 15th August and was warmly welcomed by Provincial Grand Master of Kilwinning Brother T. Wilson Aitken.

After the routine business IPPGM of Ayrshire Brother Archibald Chalmers delivered a paper on the life of Brother David Murray Lyon who had served The Grand Lodge of Scotland for many years as Grand Secretary, the talk was well received by the assembled brethren and Brother Forrest gave the official vote of thanks.

A light supper was served in the upstairs lounge after Provincial Grand Lodge was closed. Brother Forrest was accompanied by Brothers Irving, Kennedy and Gardiner.
