On Saturday,3rd November 2018 a large number of brethren gathered to witness the installation of Bro George A Kerr as Master of Lodge Bearsden 1572 at the hands of Bro Angus Cameron P.M. Lodge Ellangowan 716 and Bro Allan Malaney P.M. Lodge Bearsden 1572.

However prior to the ceremonial proper commencing Bro Clifford T.R. Otley P.M. Secretary of the lodge was presented to the Brethren and an outline of his long service to the lodge particularly while holding the office of secretary was given.

Thereafter Bro Otley was presented with a Distinguished Service Diploma by the Master Bro Derek Malaney and further congratulated by the Provincial Grand Master Bro James Forrest. The brethren showed their appreciation of Bro Otleys efforts in the usual manner and were thereafter treated to a fine installation ceremonial.
