On Saturday 18th October 2008 the PGM Bro. Thomas K. Leckenby and IPPGM Bro. John F. Herrick accompanied Bro. Russell A. Cameron Master of Lodge Cadder Argyle No.147 along with Bro. William H. Cairns PM No. 147, Hon Dep.PGM visited Bro. W. Ian M. Smith who is now resident at Cumbernauld Village Nursing Home.

Bro. W. Ian M. Smith was initiated in Lodge Cadder Argyle No.147 on 7th October 1958, Master of his Mother Lodge in 1965 and Provincial Grand Master of Dunbartonshire 1978 to 1983.

The Master of Lodge No. 147 presented Bro. Smith with a Jubilee Certificate in recognition of 50 years faithful service to the Craft.

Bro. Smith who has settled in well at the nursing home was delighted with the presentation and enjoyed the company of the visiting Brethren.
