The Annual Garden Fete at Marcus Humphrey House was held on Saturday, 9th June 2018. The weather was glorious and the attendance figures were well up on previous years.

An opening address was made by Marcus Humphrey of Dinnet and thereafter the fete was officially opened by Provost Brennan of Inverclyde. Entertainment was provided by Michael Dailly playing the pipes, Liam Stewart on accordion and a display courtesy of the Nicol Boyle Highland Dancers.

The Widows Sons Scotland made a special appearance and were conspicuous in serving hotdogs and burgers. The Province was well represented by the Provincial Grand Master Bro James Forrest, Provincial Grand Master Depute Bro David Irving and his wife Letitia, Provincial Grand Master Substitute Bro James Kennedy and his wife Marie and Provincial Grand Almoner Derek Grindlay all being present. An excellent day enjoyed by the many visitors present.
