The venue for this years event was Swanswater Fisheries which was held on Saturday the 13th May. 22 Angles taking part, pleasing to see the numbers for this day improving year on year.

Weather conditions were wet but our Anglers are a hardy bunch and the thought for the day was that there is no such thing as bad weather only bad clothing for the conditions.

The location seemed to be to everyones satisfaction , this year a total of 30 fish caught with last years dismal total only 9. The winners were for the Team Prize Lodge 1234 with Malcolm MacDonald and William Hay, 7 Fish weighing in at 17lb, Lodge 384 being the runners up. The heaviest Fish was won by Lodge 170 Jim McColl at 4lb. Prizes will be presented later in the year but the thanks of PGL are extended to the venue and those Brethren designated to oversee the competition.
