On Tuesday,1st October 2019 a large number of brethren attended the annual Secretaries, Treasurers and Almoners Meeting held within the Function Suite of Dumbarton Kilwinning Lodge No 18..

Havine been welcomed by the Provincial Grand Master Bro James Forrest and partaken of a meal the Brethren were treated to a first rate presentation by Bro Stewart Donaldson a M.M. of Lodge Stirling Royal Arch No 76 whose subject was the painting " The Inauguration of Robert Burns as Poet Laureate of the Canongate Kilwinning Lodge".

This thoroughly entertaining and thought provoking lecture stimulated a great deal of interest among the Brethren and a very lively question and answer session followed with all questions and points raised being answered to the complete satisfaction of all concerned. A very successful night and Bro Donaldson was highly praised by Depute Provincial Grand Master Bro David S Irving who proposed a vote of thanks to all concerned.
