On Monday,22nd January 2018 a large deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Dunbartonshire was welcomed into Lodge St George 503 by the Master Bro Marc Stewart.

Provincial Grand Master Bro James Forrest thanked Bro Stewart for the warm welcome and thereafter Bro Gordon Kinniburgh was introduced  to the brethren by Provincial Grand Lodge Director of Ceremonies Bro James Clarkson. PGM Forrest then outlined the service given to Freemasonry by Bro Kinniburgh in his capacity as an accomplished organist these services having been recognised by the Grand Master Mason with the rank of Honorary Grand Organist. Provincial Grand Secretary Bro Reginald Peat thereafter read the content of the certificate which was duly presented to Bro Kinniburgh by Bro Forrest together with a jewel presented by the Master Bro Stewart. Following this presentation Past Master George Hogg was presented to the brethren and Past Master Alex Hyslop gave a detailed account of the service to Lodge St George carried out by P.M Hogg. Thereafter Bro Hogg was presented with a Distinguished Service Certificate. In reply Bro Hogg thanked the brethren in his usual articulate style. An excellent First Degree followed carried out by the Lodge Officebearers  thus ending a most enjoyable evening at Lodge St George 503.
