On Tuesday,5th October 2021 some 80 brethren attended the Secretary, Treasurers and Almoners meeting held within the function suite of Dumbarton Kilwinning Lodge No 18.

Having been welcomed by Provincial Grand Master Bro James Forrest a light meal was enjoyed by all followed by a presentation by the main guests of the evening namely Mrs Laura Walker the CEO of Visibility Scotland and Miss Louise Conn the fund-raising executive of that organisation which was the nominated Provincial Grand Lodge Charity. The presentation outlined the objectives and work carried out in recent times and the assistance and care given to persons affected by little or no vision. Various questions and observations followed the talk and thereafter Provincial Grand Master presented a cheque for a total of £17,500 to Mrs Walker. The evening concluded with a hearty vote of thanks proposed by Substitute Provincial Grand Master Bro John P MacQueen.
