On Friday,21st June 2019 a large number of brethren attended the last meeting of Lodge St John Dalmuir 543 to be held within their premises at Nairn Place, Dalmuir. The premises which were consecrated in 1936 have simply outgrown their usefulness and after much thought and deliberation by the members it was decided to sell the temple and move to the temple belonging to Lodge Clydebank 1234.

A deputation from Provincial Grand Lodge headed by Provincial Grand Master Bro James Forrest was in attendance and witnessed Bro Robert H A McPherson P.M. of Lodge Clydebank have Honorary Membership conferred upon him and thereafter Bro John Hutchison and John S Forsyth both Past Masters of Lodge St John were presented with Distinguished Service Diplomas by the Master Bro Kenneth Campbell.

A dinner followed the meeting at which various toasts were proposed and the brethren now look forward to a new chapter in the history of the lodge.
