The 2016 PGL Games Competition took place in the premises of last year's winners, Lodge Leven St John No. 170 in Renton, with Substitute Provincial Grand Master James T. Kennedy in attendance to see fair play. Although few in number, the Lodges represented (170, 321 and 716) had an excellent evening of fellowship and friendly rivalry, with 8 teams battling it out. The games themselves consisted of carpet bowls, dominoes, darts and pool.
The action was close fought all evening, with Lodge Leven St John the victors again, 170's Team D being the overall winners on 6 points, with 3 teams on their heels with 5 points each.
No-one went hungry, with a magnificent spread laid on courtesy of a local chip shop.
The event was organised by 170's Junior Warden, Brother David Muir, who is to be congratulated on an excellent job.
