The PGL Angling Competition was held on Saturday 17th May 2008 at Lawfield Fisheries near Kilmacolm and the PGL wishes to convey its appreciation to Bro James McColl PM of Lodge Leven St John No 170 for organising yet another successful event. A total of 24 hardy fishermen representing 9 lodges stood up to the breezy conditions of the day. Irrespective of the weather there were many fine fish caught, an example of which is captured in the photograph of Bro McColl below. The eventual winners of the trophies were:
