On Wednesday 8th April 2015 the Provincial Grand Master Bro John Reid McCormack together with various members of Provincial Grand Lodge attended Lodge Cumbernauld St Andrews No 199 where no less than four members were presented with 50 year diplomas.

The members concerned were Robert Moffat, Archibald McWatt, William Meechan and David Boyle. A brief history relative to each brother was given by the Right Worshipful Master Bro Sandy Cowie before he and the Provincial Grand Master presented the brethren with their diplomas. Bro Meechan on behalf of his colleagues thanked all concerned for the presentation. At the conclusion of this ceremony however Bro John McInally Cameron P.M. Lodge Kyle Kildrum No 1602 was presented to the assembled brethren and given honorary membership of the lodge much to the approval of everyone present. Bro Cameron replied suitably expressing his delight in being granted honorary membership. A very busy and pleasing night in the history of Lodge Cumbernauld St Andrews No 199.
