On Saturday 30th June DPGM Irving, and SPGM's McQueen and Kennedy represented the Province at the Installation of the Provincial Grand Master and the Commissioned Office-bearers of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Kilwinning.

The Grand Lodge of Scotland headed by The GMM Brother Charles I. R. Wolrige Gordon of  Esslemont Installed Brother. Thomas Wood as Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master, Brother. James Brennan as DPGM, Brother. Robert McCrea as SPGM, Brother. Terrance Galloway as Provincial Grand Secretary and Brother. George T. Stoddart as Provincial Grand Chaplain. The GMM was assisted by Grand Secretary, Brother. Euan Edment, Grand Director of Ceremonies Brother William H. Gauld and Grand Chaplain Brother Rev. Iain Ramsden.

On completion of the Installation the Brethren retired upstairs to enjoy a Dinner followed by the customary toasts with The PGM of Ayrshire Brother William Steel proposing the toast to the Provincial Grand Lodge of Kilwinning. A fine day was completed with Auld Lang Syne and the singing of the National Anthem at 5.00pm
