The Annual Claude Hamilton Golf Competition was held on Wednesday, 5th June 2019 over Douglas Park Golf Club. 30 competitors took part on the day which was up on last year's entry.  Before Wednesday it had rained for two days without a break but from all reports the course held up and conditions although soft were fine.

The results were as follows Winners: Lodge Bonhill & Alexandria St Andrews Royal Arch No 321 -  (135) Bro Ian Matthews, Bro Kenneth McLeod, Bro William Brown Runners Up Lodge Leven St John No 170 - .....(137)  Hugh T McNab Trophy Winner: Bro Gordon Findlay No 147    – Net 67 Runner Up: Bro John Murray Lodge Leven St John No 170   – Net 68  Smith Trophy (1st Class) Winner: Bro Russell Cameron No 147  – Net 73 Runner Up: Bro Alex Smart  No 195   – Net 74  Drummond Trophy (2nd Class) Winner: Bro Andrew Stevenson No 1572   - Net 69  Runner Up: Bro Alan Quate  No 147  - Net 70

At the conclusion of the competition DPGM Bro David Irving congratulated everyone who had taken part in making it such a successful day with particular thanks going to the organisers Bro William Cairns and Bro James Anderson who had once again given much time and effort to ensure the success of the day.  Trophy Presentation will take place in The Masonic Temple Alexandria, date to be confirmed and notified of PGL Facebook page and PG Secretaries office.
